When an artist realizes that they have the chance to send a positive message to the masses through their music they are good in my book. There is such a small group of “icons” in music and these are the people that realize they are doing more than just making music and entertaining. Trust me I’m not calling Asher an icon yet but I can definitely see the potential. With fame and fortune comes responsibility and it is great to hear Asher talking rapping about child obesity during his 106 and Park visit (around the 5 minute mark).
